    iPhone

    Open iPhone Mirroring on your Mac and use the phone there. Each tap is a step, typing counts, and each screenshot shows just the phone.

    iPad and other screens

    Show the screen with AirPlay, or a cable and QuickTime Player. A step is taken each time the screen changes, or when you press Alt+Shift+D.

    Android

    Turn on USB debugging and connect the cable. Each tap is a step with where you tapped and the app's name. A swipe becomes Scroll.
