Yatri Playbook is run by Yatri Cloud. This page explains what we store and why.
What we store
- Your name, email and password (the password is stored as a one-way hash by our sign-in provider).
- The guides and pages you make: text, screenshots and where each step was captured.
- Who viewed a guide and when, so authors can see how it is used. Public link viewers are counted without names.
What the capture apps record
Only while a capture is running: a screenshot when you click, the words on what you clicked, and the page address or app name. Password fields are never recorded. Workspaces can choose to blur emails, phone numbers and card numbers before upload and to never keep typed text.
AI
When you use AI writing, the text of the steps and, for desktop captures, the blurred screenshots are sent to our AI service to write titles and descriptions. They are not used to train models.
Who can see your guides
People in your workspace, by their role. A guide is public only if someone turns on its public link. Screenshots are stored privately and served through short-lived signed links.
Deleting
You can delete guides, workspaces and your account at any time from the app. Deleted guides stay in Trash until removed for good.
